Biography

Maggie Fox practices in the areas of business law, securities litigation and class actions, focusing on complex federal criminal and civil matters. She has litigated cases involving Ponzi schemes, kickback allegations, Stark Act violations, money laundering, wire fraud and other white collar criminal claims. She has also represented clients in matters related to healthcare fraud, business contract conflicts and employment issues. She has served as local counsel in a variety of case types including qui tam matters.

Before joining Griffin Humphries, Maggie was an associate with Lewis, Babcock, and Griffin, LLP. Maggie earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the Wayne Calloway School of Business and Accountancy at Wake Forest University, and a J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law. During law school, she served on the South Carolina Law Review and authored the note, Commodo Caveo: Lender Beware – An Analysis of Lender Liability for Construction Defects under the Implied Warranty of Habitability, 59 S.C. L. Rev. 493 (2008). She is an avid runner and a member of the Junior League of Columbia, an organization devoted to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
