Columbia, SC – Griffin Humphries founding members James M. Griffin and Badge Humphries are included in the 2025 edition of The Best Lawyers in America.
James M. Griffin, based in Columbia, is honored in commercial litigation and criminal defense: white collar. He has been included in every edition of the national directory since 2021, a list of honors that includes a Lawyer of the Year award for the Columbia area last year.
Badge Humphries, based in Charleston, is recognized in the new edition for his work in commercial litigation and product liability litigation – plaintiffs.
Published annually for more than four decades, “Best Lawyers” is one of the oldest guides to the legal profession.
“It’s always an honor to be highlighted in a publication with the long history and outstanding reputation of ‘Best Lawyers’,” Griffin said. “The fact that selection is based on peer review makes it all the more meaningful.”
Humphries said the firm is pleased that the two founders are included alongside so many other esteemed attorneys throughout the state. “Being included in Best Lawyers is truly humbling,” he said. “We’re grateful for the trust our clients place in us and will continue to work diligently on their behalf.”
About Best Lawyers
